If you get this error when un-installing or installing AVG you will need to do the following:
AVG Error 0xcoo70643
Download and run the correct version of AVG Remover – If it doesnt work try runing ALL of them. Make sure you run them from a full domain/local admin user.

AVG Remover (32bit)
AVG Remover (64bit)
AVG Remover (32bit) 2015
AVG Remover (64bit) 2015
AVG Identity Protection Remover

Reboot – Then try to install AVG again.
Also, try this remover: Download here

If this fails, try to install AVG in another location (select advanced install).

If this still fails you’ll need to do this:
Clean .NET Framework using this tool
http://blogs.msdn.com/b/astebner/archive/2008/08/28/8904493.aspx

Then re-install the .NET frameworks.

o .NET Framework v1.1

o .NET Framework v1.1 SP1

o .NET Framework v3.5 SP1 (Note that this will also install v2.0 and v3.0 SP2 of .NET Framework)

o .NET Framework v4.0

  • Install .NET Framework 1.1, 1.1 SP1, 3.5 SP1 and 4.0 in order.

Check Windows Update and ensure all important Updates have been installed.

Try to install AVG again.

Still Receiving AVG Install Error Code 0xc0070643?

If
you continue to receive an AVG installation error code 0xc0070643 after
using the above guide contact AVG Support and provide the
installation log for AVG:

  • Make sure that hidden files and folders are displayed. See the guides on how to make these items visible in XP or Vista and Windows 7.
  • Browse
    for C:Documents and SettingsAll UsersApplication DataMFADataLogs
    (in XP) or C:ProgramDataMFADataLogs (in Vista and Windows 7).
  • Locate the most recent MFA-<date>-<time>.log and MSI-<date>-<time>.log files.
  • Compress these files and send to AVG support. Free users of AVG should provide these log files at AVG Free forum. Paid customers should visit AVG Support website.

The AVG support team will analyze the provided log files and should offer steps in fixing the problem.
